Aims, objectives and rules
Aims:
To teach effective martial arts for
personal protection.
To encourage people to take personal
responsibility for their actions and to understand that you get out of any activity (including 'life') in
response to what effort you put in.
To encourage a knowledge of and enjoyment
in practising martial arts.
Objectives:
To teach Karate Jutsu
techniques.
To teach information regarding personal
safety strategies.
To teach information regarding the law and
moral issues concerning personal safety.
To encourage students to become Black Belt
martial artists.
To help students meet their fitness and
exercise goals.
Rules:
All students will behave courteously to one-another and to the instructor.
All students acknowledge that the skills they are learning are ONLY to be used in
defence.
All students will advise the instructor at the beginning of a class if they have any injury
or condition that might be harmful to themselves or to other students whilst training.
All students will immediately (or as soon as is practicable) advise the instructor if they
are hurt or injured during training.
All students will do their best to respect the martial art that they are learning and
respect other students of other martial arts with whom they may come into contact.
All students will act at all times in a manner which accords with the law and the moral
values of their society.
The above rules may be changed from time to time and it is a students responsibility to keep up
to date with them.
